Hello William,

Great to hear from you!!!

Sorry to hear you have a dislocated ankle, does not sound like fun at all.

I just got my last MRI on Friday Jan. 4th, and it looked clear and good. No seen tumor. YA!!! Overall, I am doing well. I get very tired the week each month I am on chemo. My blood cell counts are low, but so far I have not gotten sick at all.

We just got back from Hawaii. We had such a great time there. All of my brothers and sister met there with our families and stayed together. It was so much fun. Coming back to the snow and a big storm was very different than the Hawaii weather. But I do love snow, so don't complain.

Elaine Fantle Shimberg www.Elainesbooks.com, the author and aunt of a friend of mine, suggested that I send my manuscript off to Abernathy House, P.O. Box 1109, Yarmouth, ME 04096-11098. A self publishing place. She just used it recently and really liked them. She published her own first children's book. She thought it would work well for me. So early Dec. I talked to Abernathy House on the phone and they seemed really nice. A small family publishing place. I emailed them my manuscript and they said they would review it after the busy holiday season. So I hope to hear back from them soon. I really don't know much about publishing your own book, but it seems easier than trying to deal with publishers that hate to see new people and you have to beg them to take your book.

I've been so busy with my two little boys that I have not spent much time thinking about the manuscript. Maybe when I hear something back from Abernathy House, I will get more motivated. I'll let you know what they say.

Hope all is going well at the meetings. I miss everyone there. You all helped me out so much.

Cheers,
Cheryl Broyles
