Below is an email I recently received from Cheryl regarding her latest MRI. Hello William,
I've missed the last few meetings. Since school is out our family has been having fun camping, backpacking, bike riding and are out of town a lot. On July 2nd, I was out backpacking in the Lassen National Park. I saw a bear chasing a baby deer. The next meeting time, we will be in Alaska. Then the meeting after that, I will be in Colorado. So I will not see you guys for awhile. When fall comes and school starts again, I'll be back at the meetings.
Just to let you know. My last MRI on June 29th looked good. No tumor seen. My chemo is going well. I feel tired the 5 days a month on it, but overall good. Today I rode my bike around Crater Lake to celebrate my 7th year celebration for surviving "terminal" brain cancer. My white blood cell count is going lower and lower, I will get kicked off chemo if it gets too low.
I sent my manuscript off to my friend about a week ago. I have not heard back from her yet. We will see.
See you this fall. I'll let you know how things go with "Life's Mountains."
God Bless, Cheryl
